- We used google drawings
- then took a screen shot of a body
- put text boxes in and write all the muscles in them.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Thunderstorms
Thunderstorms
One of the deadliest weather features known to Mankind! are Thunderstorms! they have many attributes like Lightning,Thunder and much more.
The basic ingredients used to make a Thunderstorm are moisture unstable air and lift. You need moisture to form clouds and rain. You need unstable air that is relatively warm and can rise rapidly. Finally you need lift This can form from fronts sea breezes or mountains.
Lightning is an electric current within a thundercloud way up in the sky, many small bits of ice that bump into each other as they move around in the air. All of those collisions create an electric charge after a while the whole cloud fills up with electrical charges. Since opposites attract, that causes a positive charge to build up on the ground beneath the cloud. The grounds electrical charge concentrates around anything that sticks up, such as mountains, people, or single trees. The charge coming up from these points eventually connects with a charge reaching down from the clouds and ZAP!... lightning strikes!
Thunder is caused by lightning when a lightning bolt travels from the cloud to the ground it opens a hole in the air called a channel. When all the air collapses back in and creates a sound wave that we hear as Thunder. we see lightning before we hear thunder is because light travels faster than sound. Thunderstorms Are caused by lightning depending in the distance and the nature of the lightning. Thunder can range from a sharp crack to a long loud rumble. The sudden increase in pressure and the heat from lighting makes rapid growth of the surrounding air and within a bolt of lightning .
Rain is one of the most common weather features that people get. Sometimes rain Is a good thing it helps farmers grow crops and a howl bunch of other things and if there was no rain we would be living on a desert! And sometimes rain is bad because it causes floods almost 113 times each year and it reacts people's lives every year.
I like Thunderstorms because of all the attributes that a Thunderstorm has. My favorite features of Thunderstorms are lightning, rain and clouds.

Robert falcon Scott
Robert Falcon Scott
Robert Falcon Scott is a British Explorer he was born the on 6 of June 1868 in Plymouth, United Kingdom. who traveled to Antarctica to try and make it to the center of Antarctica.
Robert Falcon Scott and four companions – Henry Bowers, Edgar Evans, Lawrence Oates and Edward Wilson were trying to be the first people to ever reach Antarctica.
They left to reach Antarctica on the 17th of January 1912 he arrived to Antarctica 2 weeks later on a boat when he saw that Roald Amundsen beat him there they started to head back a couple days later when they hopped on their boat started to shrivel up because of the ice and the freezing cold water.
They had to abandon the boat they were stuck on iceberg for a couple of days but unfortunately they all died of starvation and hypothermia.
I like Robert Falcon Scott and I Recon his trip to Antarctica and back is really fascinating.

Cool Antarctica
Cool Antarctica
If you go to to Antarctica you will more than likely need more than 1 layer over wise you will freeze like a ice block so it would be a good idea to have a couple layers. The coldest temperature ever recorded in Antarctica was 89.2 C and the hottest temperature in Antarctica is -17.5 C. 90%. If you're in Antarctica you will more than likely see animals such as penguins, seals and whales but those aren't all the animals in Antarctica because there are roughly around 68 species all throughout Antarctica. The largest iceberg ever measured in Antarctica is bigger than Jamaica 11,000 sq km (4,200 sq mi). It broke away from Antarctica in 2000. If you're in antarctic all you will see is white and a bit of blue for miles some glaciers on the way and sometimes just flat ground and animals.
I like Antarctica because of the animals and i find it fascinating about the history of the explorers but the main reason i like Antarctica is because of the scenery.
