The bigger picture.


What animals keep our jackets warm?
Downs feathers and Sheeps wool.

What animal makes our boots waterproof?
Cows leather and ducks feathers.

Where does the water in our rivers come from?
The rivers water comes from our rain clouds and the constantly melting snow that is coming of our mountains.

Why do we need healthy rivers?
So we can have fresh and healthy water to drink so we can stay fresh and hydrated and so we can have healthy fish to eat.

What are some of the good things about mosquitoes?
They feed our fish and keep our rivers clean and healthy.

Why are Bees dying?
People believe that they are dying because of cellphones towers and insecticides.

What do Bugs do to our leaves.
Eat them.

Reduce.
Reuse.
Recycle.

How much Dung would we be in if there were no dung de-composers.
In the next three years we would be in 7ft of dung.

Who runs the planet?
Nature.

    I really enjoyed reading your post about 'The Bigger Picture.' I can see that you have a good understanding of how and why animals are so important to humans. What are some things that we can do here in New Zealand to look after our rivers?
