we where looking to find all there different scientific names, this is our work that we produced.

Last week my class 7MT wrote letters to our teachers wife Mrs Mitchell asking if we could do a swap with our class pets. We wanted to do a swap with her Turtle we had Frogs at the time and we knew she wouldn't say yes straight away. We wrote letters to her explaining and trying to persuade her to do a swap with our class and saying all the good things about having Frogs.

Mrs Mitchell agreed to swap our class pets, so now we are responsible for Yurtle.  As a class we can take care of Yurtle we will feed it everyday making sure its healthy, we will take it out for walks and we will always be around her so Yurtle doesn't feel lonely.

I am learning how to teach and help primary school kids to make a tournament that will help us raise food (etc) for a charity. In my group the members that will be helping me make this project are Logan and me.  the rules are to our tournament is that it is a 3 v 3 tournament. My group have started to make a video to explain our idea we made our video to introduce our game it is more eye capturing so more people will think about joining. This will help us learn more about our passion project cause it will help us understand it more.                        This is our video we made

Attitude Talk.

Today this morning all the year seven classes came in and sat down in 7mt two people came along to teach us about what to do to be safe on the internet they taught us all the good things to do and all the things you need to be careful or not to do. They taught us what to post and if its a good thing. They also said that we got to be careful with who were friends with online because we never know who they are. They also told us that views, likes and followers don't mean anything because in reality it wont be like that.

Buisness and enterprise

My groups business and enterprise product is a carnival game we are making a basketball game. There is 4 hopes on are game and they have points on them.

This is how are game works:
1 dollar for unlimited tries until you miss.
Get over 50 points to get on the leader but don't worry even if you don't get over 50 you still get a small prize.
And at the end of the day the 3 people that have the highest points get big prizes!

Christmas around the globe.

We are learning about Christmas traditions around the world Today I learned that ...

in Sweden Christmas eve is known as julafton.  This is a day for parties,eating,drinking and present giving. Christmas food is special prepared cooked cod fish

 and and rice porridge.

in Italy people eat and drink very little on Christmas day because this is a special day if prayer. They have beatific cribs n their churches and homes. Italians share Christmas gifts on January the 6 remembering the Three wise men who brought their gifts to Jesus.

In Australia its very hot and he needs to cool down so the kids of Aussie leave out a nice cold beer.

The pigeon wants a walrus!

This week we have been reading a series of books about a pigeon we had to pick out of four of them out of the four i picked the one that thought was the most interesting and fun. The pigeon wants a walrus. The story i picked is about a pigeon who wanted a dog but when he finally got one he didn't like it so he started begging for a Walrus.

Does the pigeon really need a walrus for a pet?”

Well I think he should get one because you never know when it would come in handy.

For an example just last week a dog tried to eat the pigeon and if that ever happened again the walrus could be the pigeons bodyguard. The walrus could be the hero and scare all the pigeon;s enemies away.

The pigeon could make an excuse to get a bigger house so the walrus could fit. If the walrus’s friends or family wanted to come over there would be plenty of space. If the walrus considered to make a family he could make another excuse to get a even bigger house.

If the pigeon was in any trouble he could go get all the walrus's friend and family and make a walrus army. To take down all the predators he has had trouble with and to make the hole world predator free.

I think the pigeon should get a walrus because even if none of these things happen they could still become best friend even though  there differences.
