Today in hurumanu science our aim was to see how to chemicals that you could find at your house would act if you mixed them together.
7/8 Bh and 7/8 Tz have been working on a Home Chemistry as our hurumanu topic this term. We mixed to simple chemicals that you can find at your house and then we mixed them and we watched what there reaction was. The equipment we used in this experiment was vinegar, baking soda, and measuring cups the first step we done was we placed some baking soda in the cup then we pored some vinegar into the cup also and watched what happened. As I thought the vinegar and baking soda had a reaction they made a mixture that would fizz up and leave the cup, then we tried it a different way this time we put the vinegar in the cup first and the the baking soda, because we wanted to see even if its put in a different way would it still make the same effect.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Hey Tai, this is some A+ work. I like how you created images of your work about home chemistry. I think that it would be better if you had pictures, of both of your reactions it would make it look more exciting and show more of your research. What do you rate your chemistry work out of 10? Also tell me why?
