DESIGN AN EXPERIMENT THAT TESTS THE AMOUNT OF SALT THAT MUST BE IN WATER BEFORE IT WILL NOT FREEZE WHEN LEFT OVERNIGHT IN THE FREEZER.

THE PLAN:
task one:

1.What do we want to find out?
We need to find out why does the ocean not freeze so we are going to be experimenting buy seeing how much water and salt you need in a cup that you put in a freezer overnight and see if it freezes and then we need to expand of that.

2.How will we find out?
we are going to test five different cups that have different amount of salt and water in each.

3.How will we record your findings?
Right it down or take photos.

4.what equipment will we need?
cup, water and salt.

5.how long will it take?
three to four days.

THE PRODUCE:
task two: What are the steps that we will use to make the experiment?

1. Get four cups of water and put different amounts of salt and water in each cup.
2. Put each cup in the freezer overnight and then the next day check on them and see the results.
3.Then record you results.

THE PROCESS:
task three:  Draw on a piece of A4 paper the 6 steps that you will use to test the amount of salt in water before freezing. When we are making drawings in science  it needs to be labelled clearly, kept tidy and named. Once you have completed the drawing it must be photographed and uploaded to your blog.

In your drawing you will use:
  1. Beakers
  2. Water
  3. Measuring spoons or cups
  4. Salt
