Summer learning journey

Last Friday a lady called Emma came into our school to talk to us about the summer learning journey. The summer learning journey is a thing that you can do at home during the school holidays to keep your knowledge up to date. You post a couple good up to standard blog post you can earn some points depending on your post you can earn more points, at the end of the holidays if you have enough points you could end up winning a prize. 


  • The more activities you complete and comments you post, the more points you gain! 4 points per main activity blog post completed, 2 points per comment, 6 points for bonus activity post completed
  • Get creative! 
  • Awesome personalised prizes for top bloggers

There are also prizes you can such as Cameras, Laser strike vouchers, speakers, Headphones and a lot more cool Prizes that you can win.

    My name is Mikey and I work with Emma in the Uru Manuka Summer Learning Journey team. I'll be commenting on some of the posts you share over the summer break.

    I really like that you've shared what you know about the Summer Learning Journey programme on your blog. It's a great way to encourage other people to take part in it. Have you had a look at the website? Are there any particular topics you're looking forward to learning about?

    I'm sure Emma's told you but the programme officially starts next week (Monday the 16th of December) so don't forget to check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, have a go at some of the teaser week activities.
