Mindfulness colouring competition

Today in CIP we have been planing and deciding what we are going to do because we are going to be running a "Mindfulness Colouring Competition"  we have been answering some key questions about the competition we answered the question writing down what we think should happen and how it should be running we were answering questions like where or when it will be held, If the groups will be in age groups, etc.

These were the questions that we had been asked.


  • Are we going to have just on picture to colour in? - 3 pictures
  • Is there going to be age groups? - Yes and every age group that wins will get a prize that is suited for there age.
  • Can we get prizes donated? where from? -Yes, From the warehouse we can get learning equipment, books, little toys etc.
  • What Dates is the colouring competition going to be held? - 25th of June/ next week on wendsday.
  • Where are we going to get entries from? Hornby Primary? st Bernadette's? Gilberthorpe school? -At least 5 to 10 from each school.

    Hello Tai!

    I am pleased to see what you accomplished with your blogging in CIP. I think you did a nice job of giving a clear introduction, sharing your ideas and including a video to make it more interesting. You really nailed all of the things we are looking for in a quality blog post.

    One thing to look at is your intro. That is a VERY long sentence. Think back to the writing workshop we did in Period 5 today with Whaea Jane and the sentence trains. How could you fix up the beginning to make better sentences, specifically remembering about how many words an average sentence has?
